While we do not stock fleeces ourselves, we do know lots of farmers who are willing to sell their fleeces direct to hand spinners and other crafters. Please let us know what breed(s) you are interested in and we will put you in touch with the flock owner. Prices and postage arrangements are at the discretion of the farmer.

Poll Dorset (dense, fine and particularly white with no kemp or black fibres, 3-4 inch staple)
Portland * (white, good crimp, medium staple, soft and easy to spin)
Romney including black fleeces (good crimp, 4-8 inch oval staple with pointed tip, variable softness)
Ryeland S (dense, fine white wool with good crimp)
Shetland S (fine, crimped, various colours)
Southdown S (white, springy, quite fine with medium staple. Takes dye very well)
